We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Why Be Baptized?
- It follows the example Jesus gave us. He was baptized before starting His ministry, showing us that baptism belongs in the life of every believer.
- It symbolizes what He did. His death, burial, and resurrection. As we’re baptized, we’re leaving the old way behind and stepping into a new life in Him.
